What's a Humument do you say?
Well its an artwork devised by an
artist called Tom Phillips. It actually
stands for "Human Document" and
what you do is get an old, authentic
looking novel with a story that
contains nice n' poetic words and
just paint images over the pages,
circling certain words to make a
completely new phrase to go with
the image. Neat or what? I really
like this idea and I don't know
who wouldn't. I guess it does
take time and a lot of inspiration
but you can come up with such
cute little phrases.
The one to the left is one of my
favourites that I did and in case
you can't read it, it says; "Love
like harmonies of colour that
glows so sure and swift"
See what I mean? Now that
comes from a book on farmers!
